Our Services

The services we offer are based on the belief that individuals and families are intrinsically healthy and competent. At the point of starting with us you may not be fully functioning. However, you have the capability and resiliency to regain your healthy and competent functioning. Our services are specifically designed to integrate best practice methods and the latest research based treatment for both addictions and mental health.

We offer the following services:

The assessment is designed to help us get to know you, collect background information and learn what problems you are experiencing. By getting this background information we are able to give you suggestions about how best to proceed and support you in setting treatment goals. The assessment is one of the most important parts of treatment because it provides the road-map of how the problem started, the patterns related to the problem, a history of what has worked and not worked in the past, and an opportunity to explore core issues that may be more sub-conscious than conscious. The assessment can be from 1 to 2 hours in length and may involve contacting collateral people in your life to get more information.

Forensic Evaluation and Court Reports

1.      We are NYS DWI and OASAS approved Substance Abuse evaluators. We conduct comprehensive evaluations with individuals who have been charged with a DWI and we are able to schedule evaluations within 3 business days of the request for this service. Additionally we will provide your attorney and/or the court a summary of the evaluation and treatment recommendations within 3 business days of the evaluation. We are able to turn around an evaluation and report even quicker if you specifically have a need you let us know about.

 2.      We are NYS Licensed Mental Health evaluators. We also conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations for individuals who are mandated by the court system and those who are seeking assistance for other reasons.
